Terminal information
There are 3 terminals - 1, 2 and the Commuter Terminal (Los Angeles flights.)
Terminal passenger links
A courtesy shuttle, the Red Bus, provides regular, free transportation between all terminals. Buses run at intervals not to exceed 10 minutes. Designated Red Bus stops are located curbside at all three terminals.
A: Route No. 992
Route 992 runs between the airport (stopping between Terminals 1 and 2 and the Commuter Terminal) and downtown San Diego (4th and Broadway), stopping at the Sante Fe depot for connections to Coaster trains (linking the North County and downtown San Diego) and the Amtrak train station for nationwide services.
Service operates every 15 minutes weekdays and every 30 minutes weekends. Buses run only between 5:00am and 11:30pm. Journey time is 15-20 minutes depending on which terminal you board at.

B1: Shared Ride Vans
A variety of shuttle services are available at the transportation plazas across from Terminals 1 and 2, and curbside at the Commuter Terminal.
@ Summer 2009 a sample fare to downtown San Diego would be in the region of $8.
B2: Hotel Shuttles
Free shuttles operate between the airport and a number of hotels in the area.
C: Taxis
Taxis are available at transportation plazas across from Terminals 1 and 2, and curbside at the Commuter Terminal.
D: Limousines
Limousines are available only by advanced reservation.
E: Rental Cars
Car rental reservation boards are located near the baggage claim areas of Terminals 1 and 2. Use the courtesy phones provided to request shuttle transport to the car rental company of your choice. Please note that using a reservation board is not always necessary. Car rental shuttles regularly operate at the Terminal 1 center traffic aisle and at the traffic island at the far  west end of Terminal 2. If you follow the signage to any of these areas, it is likely that a shuttle will be waiting.
