| Terminal information The airport has 2 terminals, 1 and 2. A major expansion program is currently underway. This will leave the airport with 3 terminals – A, B & C. |
| Terminal passenger links Passengers can transfer between terminals via a covered walkway. An economy car park is connected to the terminals by a free shuttle service. |
| A1: VIA Metropolitan Transit Buses To get downtown from the airport, take the airport employee shuttle to the nearby VIA bus stop, located on Northern Blvd. Riders can board VIA bus route 5 which operates everyday and can get to downtown San Antonio in about 30 minutes, for (@ Summer 2009): - regular fare, $1.10. - day pass, $4. (this can be purchased online.) |
| A2: Airport Express Official airport shuttles depart from 7 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. daily to downtown hotels every 15 minutes. Passengers may purchase tickets at either of the baggage claim areas. @ Summer 2009 ticket rates are $18 per person to downtown hotels. |
| B1: Shared Ride Vans A number of companies provide pre-arranged shuttle service from outside baggage claim to various destinations, including downtown San Antonio. |
| B2: Hotel Shuttles Courtesy vans are operated by select hotels in and around the airport area - located outside the baggage claim areas. |
| C: Taxis Taxi cabs are available at the lower level curbside, outside of baggage claim, at Terminal 1 and at the front curbside of Terminal 2 just outside baggage claim. @ Summer 2009 fare to San Antonio downtown areas is approximately $20 to $23. |
| D: Limousines A large number of limousine companies provide pre-arranged service at the airport. |
| E: Rental Cars The rental car shuttle pick up area is located outside the baggage claim area. |
