SALT LAKE CITY AIRPORT (SLC)
|Salt Lake City International Airport (5 miles northwest of downtown Salt Lake City, Utah) is served by the following ground transportation options:
A - local bus
B - shared ride van
C - taxi
D - limousine
E - rental car
The airport has 2 terminals, 1 and 2.
Terminal 1 has 2 concourses (A & B,) Terminal 2 has 3 concourses (C, D & E.)
However note that Concourse D contains U.S. Customs facilities for arriving international flights and this area is sometimes known as the International Terminal.

There is a free airport shuttle running between the long-term parking facilities and the terminals.
|A: Utah Transport Authority Buses
A UTA bus leaves the airport for downtown Salt Lake City every 30 minutes during the day and every 60 minutes after 7:00 pm.
@ Summer 2009 the one-way fare is $2.
Bus stops are located in the parking structure between Terminal One and Terminal Two. Limited service is available on weekends and holidays.
|B1: Shared Ride Vans
A number of onsite ground transportation companies provide shuttle service from the airport to Salt Lake City (including the Amtrak Station and the Greyhound Station) and surrounding resort areas - reservations recommended.
These can be located at baggage claim, Terminals 1 or 2.
@ Summer 2009 typical fares to the resorts would be:
- Park City, Deer Valley, The Canyons, $37.
- Brighton, Snowbird, Alta, Solitude, $35.
|B2: Hotel Shuttles
Courtesy vans are operated by various hotels and motels in and around the airport area.
Taxis are parked outside the terminal curbsides.
These also service the resort areas.
@ Summer 2009 sample fares are approximately:
- downtown Salt Lake City, $15.
- Park City, Brighton, Alta, Solitude, Snowbird, $85.
- Deer Valley, $95.
- Sundance, $140.
- Snowbasin, $165.
A large number of companies provide a pre-arranged car service throughout the area.

Car rental facilities are located on the ground floor of the short-term parking garage directly across from the terminal buildings.
