| Terminal passenger links Passengers moving between the terminals may ride a shuttle bus, or take the moving walkway through the covered parking decks between the terminals. Free buses run between the two terminals and the Park & Ride car parks. Service is provided from 4:00 a.m. until 1:00 a.m. or last flight. |
| A: Triangle Transit Airport Shuttle (Route 747) Buses go to the Regional Transit Center from where you can transfer to many regional destinations including Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary and Research Triangle Park. Not on Sundays. @ Summer 2009 fares are: - adult, $2. - regional day pass, $4. For Terminal 1, head to the Triangle Transit Regional Bus Stop between Zone 7 and Zone 8 on the Ground Transportation drop-off/pickup traffic island. For Terminal 2, head to the commercial pickup curb. |
| B1: Shared Ride Vans A number of companies provide shuttle service from the airport to various destinations, including Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill. Best to book ahead. @ Summer 2009 some example fares are: - Raleigh Crabtree, $12. - Durham, $18. - Chapel Hill, $20. |
| B2: Hotel Shuttles Courtesy vans are operated by select hotels in and around the airport area. |
| C: Taxis The airport taxi service is operated by RDU Taxi, through an agreement with the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority. The Terminal 1 taxi dispatch booth is located on the curb near Southwest Airlines. The Terminal 2 dispatch booth is located on the curb on the terminal’s lower level. @ Summer 2009 some approximate fares are: - Raleigh, $30. - Durham, $30. - Chapel Hill, $38. |
| D: Limousines A large number of limousine companies provide pre-arranged service at the airport. |
| E: Rental Cars The airport car agencies are a shuttle bus ride from the terminals. Shuttles run approximately every 15 minutes and stop on each terminal curb near the baggage claim areas. |
