| Terminal information The airport has 1 terminal with the north part known as A-side and the south part as B-side. There are 4 gate areas: - Airside 1, northwest corner (A-side, gates 1-29) - Airside 2, northeast corner (A-side, gates 100-129) - Airside 3, southwest corner (B-side, gates 30-59) - Airside 4, southeast corner (A-side, gates 60-99) |
| Terminal passenger links In the Main Terminal passengers may use elevators, escalators and moving walkways to minimize walking distances. Roll-on/roll-off AGT trains transport passengers between the Airside gate areas and the Main Terminal. |
| A: Lynx Buses Lynx Buses run several services between the airport and various locations in Orlando. Buses are located on the A-side of the Main Terminal, on the Ground Transportation Level (Level 1.) Destinations include: - downtown Orlando, services 11 & 51, approximately 40 minutes, $2 one-way. - International Drive, service 42, approximately 60 minutes, $2 one-way. - Walt Disney World, service 111, approximately 75 minutes, $4 one-way. |
| B1: Shared Ride Vans Mears Transportation has a monopoly on door-to-door van-hire services at the airport. Some sample fares @ Summer 2009: - downtown Orlando, $17 one-way. - International Drive, $18 one-way. - Walt Disney World, $20 one-way. Available on both the A and B sides of the Main Terminal, on the Ground Transportation Level (Level 1.) |
| B2: Hotel Shuttles Free shuttles operate between the airport and a number of hotels in the area. |
| B3: Disney Magical Express Service Guests at select Disney hotels can use this service. They can skip baggage claim (bags will be delivered to hotel) and proceed to the Disney's Magical Express Welcome Center in the Main Terminal Building, B side, Level 1. |
| B4: Out Of Town Shuttles Note that various companies provide shuttles services to areas out-with Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties, including Daytona Beach and the Kennedy Space Center. These companies are prohibited from servicing Walt Disney World, International Drive, Universal Studios, Lake Buena Vista, downtown Orlando, US 192 and other locations within Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties. These out-of-town shuttles are available of both the A and B sides of the Main Terminal, on the Ground Transportation Level (Level 1) - book in advance. |
| B5: Cruise Line Shuttles Some cruise lines offer transportation between Port Canaveral and the airport. |
| C: Taxis Taxis are located on Level 1 on both the A and B sides of the main terminal. @ Summer 2009 some estimate fares would be: - downtown Orlando, $35. - International Drive, $33-$40. - Walt Disney World, $60. |
| D: Limousines A large number of ‘vehicles for hire’ companies are permitted by the City of Orlando and the Aviation Authority to pick up passengers with pre-arranged reservations. |
| E: Rental Cars All major car hire companies are easily accessible from the airport, with courtesy shuttles available on level 1 of A-side and B-side. |
