NEW ORLEANS, LOUIS ARMSTRONG AIRPORT (MSY)
|Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (10 miles west of downtown New Orleans) is served by the following ground transportation options:

The airport has 2 terminals, East and West, connected by a central ticketing alley. Attached are four concourses, A, B, C, and D.
|A1: Jefferson Transit Buses, Route E2
The Airport-Downtown Express (E2) provides service from the airport, down Airline Drive into the New Orleans Central Business District.
The bus stop is on the second level of the airport.
@ Summer 2009 the fare is $1.60.
Transfers are available from the driver for 50 cents.
|A2: New Orleans Airport Shuttle Buses
The official ground transportation provider for the airport. They offer transportation to and from downtown & uptown New Orleans Hotels, the French Quarter, the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center & the Cruise Terminals.
Located at the lower level baggage claim areas.

|B1: Shared Ride Vans
A number of companies provide pre-arranged shuttle service from outside baggage claim to various destinations, including downtown New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
|B2: Hotel Shuttles
Courtesy vans are operated by select hotels in and around the airport area - located at the lower level baggage claim areas .
Taxi pickup is on the lower level, outside the baggage claim area.
@ Summer 2009 a cab ride costs $33 from the airport to the Central Business District for one or two persons, and $14 (per passenger) for three or more passengers.
A large number of limousine companies provide pre-arranged service at the airport.
|E: Rental Cars
Counters for renting cars are located on the lower level of the terminal complex.
