Terminal information
The airport has 2 terminals, Lindbergh and Humphrey.
The Lindbergh Terminal has 7 concourses (A-G), the smaller Humphrey Terminal contains Concourse H only.

Note that the Lindbergh Terminal has an underground tram system for traveling to concourses.
Free transport is available between the Humphrey and Lindbergh terminals via a Light Rail Transit (LRT) service. These trains run between terminals around the clock, seven days a week, every 7 to 8 minutes during peak times and 10 to 15 minutes at other times of day.
The Lindbergh Terminal light rail station is located below the Transit Center, between the Blue and Red Parking ramps. From the Tram Level (one level below bag claim), take the tram to the Transit Center, then follow signs.
The Humphrey Terminal light rail station is located on the north side of the Orange parking ramp. Take the skyway to the parking ramp on the second level then follow signs.
A: Light Rail Transit
Trains on the LRT Hiawatha Line stop at both the Lindbergh and Humphrey terminals and connect travelers to 15 other destinations, including the Warehouse District in downtown Minneapolis to the north (25 minutes) and the Mall of America to the south (11 minutes.) Trains run every 7 or 8 minutes during peak hours and every 10 to 15 minutes at other times of the day.
@ Summer 2009 adult fares are $2.25 during rush hour (Monday through Friday, 6 to 9 am and 3 to 6:30 pm) and $1.75 at other times. Tickets are sold at vending kiosks at the rail stations.
The Lindbergh Terminal light rail station is located below the Transit Center, between the Blue and Red Parking ramps. From the Tram Level (one level below bag claim), take the tram to the Transit Center, then follow signs.
The Humphrey Terminal light rail station is located on the north side of the Orange parking ramp. Take the skyway to the parking ramp on the second level then follow signs.
B: City Bus Service
City bus service (route 54) is provided by Metro Transit.
Bus pick up and drop off is located outside the Lindbergh Terminal’s Transit Center, on Level 1 of the Blue and Red parking ramps. This Transit Center can be accessed via the tram on the Tram Level or via the Concourse Connector between concourses C and G.
Note that there is no bus pick up at the Humphrey Terminal. Passengers arriving here must take light rail transit to the Lindbergh Terminal to access these city buses.
This route will take you south to the Mall of the Americas or north to downtown Saint Paul. Buses leave every 15 minutes during rush hour, less frequently at other times.

C1: Shared Ride Vans
A number of ground transportation companies provide shuttle service from the airport to Minneapolis, Saint Paul and surrounding areas.
Ticket counters are located in the Ground Transportation Atrium, one floor up from the Tram Level in the Lindbergh Terminal. Passengers arriving at the Humphrey Terminal must take light rail transit to the Lindbergh Terminal to access these vans.

- downtown Saint Paul, $14.
C2: Hotel Shuttles
Free shuttles operate between the airport and a number of hotels in the area.
D: Taxis
Taxicab service is available at both the Lindbergh and Humphrey Terminals.
Taxi service at the Lindbergh Terminal is accessible via the Tram Level. Signs direct passengers one level up to the taxi starter booth.
At the Humphrey Terminal, taxi service is available at the Humphrey Ground Transport Center, located on the ground level of the Purple parking ramp directly across from the terminal building.

- downtown Minneapolis, $33-$44.
- downtown Saint Paul, $28-$34.
All taxi fares are metered at a rate of up to $2.35 per mile and include a $3.00 trip fee that is added to the final metered fare.
E: Limousines
Limousine service is provided by several companies at the airport. Book ahead.
F: Rental Cars
A large number of car rental firms work out of the airport.
On-airport rental car counters at the Lindbergh Terminal are located on the second and third levels between the Blue and Red parking ramps. Passengers can take the underground tram to the Blue and Red parking ramps and then take an elevator to the second or third floor. Shuttle buses to the off-airport car rental companies are accessible from this area.
At the Humphrey Terminal, on-airport rental car counters are located in the Ground Transport Center on the ground level of the Purple parking ramp directly across from the terminal building.
