| A: Amtrak The Amtrak station is located within a short distance from the airport. A free shuttle bus connects rail passengers from the airport. The shuttle departs from the airport outside baggage claim. The Amtrak Hiawatha Line runs between Milwaukee and Chicago, with 7 round trips per day (6 on a Sunday.) A 15 minute ride will get you to the Intermodal Terminal in downtown Milwaukee.
