| Terminal passenger links Moving walkways are available to assist transferring between terminals. A free shuttle connects the long-term surface parking areas and economy lot with the terminals. |
| A: MATA Buses Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) operate a service (route 32.) that connects the airport with downtown Memphis. The service departs from a stop near the baggage claim area. |
| B1: Shared Ride Vans A number of private companies run door-to-door vans providing service between the airport and selected locations, including downtown Memphis - based in the baggage claim area at the ground level. Best to book ahead. @ Summer 2009 a one-way fare to downtown Memphis would cost in the region of $16. |
| B2: Hotel Shuttles Free shuttles operate between the airport and a number of hotels in the area. Outside the baggage claim area there are overhead signs indicating the location for hotel shuttle stops. |
| C: Taxis Taxis depart from terminal B baggage claim area at the ground level. @ Summer 2009 an approximate fare to downtown Memphis is $30. |
| D: Limousines Service for luxury limousines must be prearranged and coordinated with companies that offer airport services. These services would only be available on the lower drive. |
| E: Rental Cars Courtesy phones located near the exits in all baggage claim areas may be used to contact car rental agencies. All rental agencies are located off the airport and each provides its own courtesy shuttle. The shuttle stop is outside the baggage claim area underneath the overhead signs. |
