LAS VEGAS MCCARRAN AIRPORT (LAS)
|Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (1 mile south of the Las Vegas Strip) is served by the following ground transportation options:
A - local bus
B - shared ride van
C - taxi
D - limousine
E - rental car
The airport has 2 terminals. Terminal 1 has 4 concourses (A-D), Terminal 2 is known as the Charter International Terminal.
|Terminal passenger links
An automated people mover system connects concourses C and D with the Terminal 1 check-in and baggage claim areas.
A shuttle bus links to the rent a car center.
|A: RTC Buses
The Regional Transport Commission of Southern Nevada runs public buses.
Routes 108 and 109 serve the airport and run to central Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Strip:
- 108 follows Swenson Street to the Las Vegas Hilton.
- 109 travels up Maryland Parkway.
@ Summer 2009 cost of a single fare is $1.75.
|B1: Shared Ride Vans
A variety of shuttle services are available, and are located on the west side of baggage claim, outside door exits 7-13.
Some sample fares @ Summer 2009:
- Strip hotels, $6-$7.
- downtown hotels, $8-$9.
Available on both the A and B sides of the Main Terminal, on the Ground Transportation Level (Level 1.)
|B2: Hotel Shuttles
Free shuttles operate between the airport and a number of hotels in the area.
Taxicabs are available on the east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1-4. Airport personnel are available on the taxi curb to assist passengers.
There is an initial charge of $3.30 plus a $1.80 charge on all fares originating at the airport.
@ Summer 2009 some estimate fares would be:
- South Strip, $10 upwards.
- Center Strip, $15 upwards.
- Downtown, $20 upwards.
A variety of ‘vehicles for hire' are available, and are located on the west side of baggage claim, outside door exits 7-13.
|E: Rental Cars
Dedicated McCarran Rent-A-Car Center shuttles depart approximately every five minutes to the new McCarran Rent-A-Car Center. Exit door 10 or 11.
