| Terminal passenger links A people mover system called SkyLink is located completely inside the secured areas of the airport. Skylink's average wait time is two minutes, while the average ride time is five minutes. It is also double-tracked, permitting bi-directional operations. Note that transportation between terminals while outside security is available on TerminalLink, a free shuttle service. Pick-up and drop-off points are located on the upper level of each terminal, outside baggage reclaim areas. |
| A: Trinity Railway Express (TRE) Trinity Railway Express offers connections to Dallas and Fort Worth. Shuttles connect the station and the terminals and are free for passengers holding a valid air ticket. This is a cooperative service provided by the Fort Worth Transportation Authority (the T) and the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART.) The TRE links downtown Fort Worth (T & P Station), the airport and downtown Dallas (Union Station.) Scheduled train service is provided Monday through Saturday. No service is available on Sunday. @ Summer 2009 a single ticket costs $2.50 - Dallas or Fort Worth. Ticket Vending Machines are located on all station platforms. |
| B: Dallas Area Rapid Transport Bus Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) provides service from Remote North Parking via the route 310 bus Monday through Friday and from Remote South Parking via the route 408 bus seven days a week. Free shuttle service is provided from all airport terminals to these two locations. - 310, weekdays only, ride the 310 to the North Irving Transit Center. Transfer to the express route 202 bus to continue to downtown Dallas. Best to purchase a $5.00 System Day Pass. - 408, 7 days, ride the 408 to the Harry Hines & Butler bus stop. Transfer to the 409 bus to Cityplace Station to connect to DART Rail. Purchase a $1.75 single-ride ticket or buy a $4.00 Local Day Pass. |
| C1: Fort Worth Airporter Yellow Checker Shuttle Company provides daily transportation to downtown Fort Worth and selected hotels under the name Airporter. Buses leave from the upper level of each terminal. @ Summer 2009 fares are: - $15 one way to Airporter Park & Ride lot in downtown Fort Worth. - $19 one way to scheduled Fort Worth hotels. |
| C2: Shared Ride Vans A number of private companies run door-to-door vans providing service between the airport and passenger-specified locations. Depending on the number of passengers, these vans may make multiple stops. These vans pick up at the orange ‘Shared Ride’ area. @ Summer 2009 a downtown Dallas or Fort Worth fare would cost in the region of $17. |
| C3: Hotel Shuttles Free shuttles operate between the airport and a number of hotels in the area. |
| D: Taxis Taxi service is available on the upper level of Terminals A, B, C and E, and on the lower level of Terminal D. Some example approximate fares @ summer 2009: - Fort Worth City Hall, $43. - Dallas City Hall, $40. |
| E: Limousines Limousines are available only by advanced reservation. |
| F: Rental Cars After collecting your baggage, follow the Rental Car signs to the designated pick-up area on the lower level of the terminal. From there, board the Rental Car shuttle bus. Buses depart every five minutes and reach the Rental Car Center in approximately 10 minutes. |
