Albuquerque International Sunport Airport (4 miles southeast of downtown Albuquerque and 60 miles southwest of Santa Fe) is served by the following ground transportation options:

Terminal information
The airport has 1 terminal with 3 concourses, A & B +  E (an area for commuter airline gates.)
Terminal passenger links
Rental car shuttles run every 5 minutes from the commercial lane located outside the 1st level of the airport terminal building.
A: ABQ Buses connecting to the New Mexico Rail Runner Express Train
See B below for detailed information on the ABQ shuttle bus 350, which connects the airport to the downtown Albuquerque station and in particular the Rail Runner trains that run north to Santa Fe. This bus is free if you have a valid Rail Runner ticket.
The Rail Runner train to Santa Fe Depot takes approximately 90 minutes.
@ summer 2009 a Rail Runner fare to Santa Fe is $6.
B: ABQ Ride Buses
ABQ RIDE provides bus service every half hour from the Albuquerque International Sunport. Pickup at the southside of the baggage claim area.
Route 50 takes approximately 25 minutes to run to downtown Albuquerque, Monday to Saturday, terminating at the Alvarado Transportation Center.
Route 350 is a non-stop service to the Alvarado Transportation Center. There are only 6 of these a day, during rush hour periods (scheduled to link with Rail Runner northbound train departures, see A above - free with a valid Rail Runner ticket.)
@ Summer 2009 fares are:
- regular, $1.
- child (age 10 upwards), 35 cents.
- senior, 35 cents.
- child (up to 9), free.
- adult day pass, $2.
- adult 3 day pass, $6.
C1: Shared Ride Vans
A small number of companies provide regular shuttle service from baggage claim level to various destinations, including Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Best to book ahead.
@ Summer 2009 some example fares are:
- downtown Albuquerque, $11 (+ $5 per additional passenger.)
- downtown Santa Fe, $25.
C2: Hotel Shuttles
Courtesy vans are operated by select hotels in and around the airport area.
D: Taxis
Taxis available on demand outside baggage claim.
E: Limousines
A number of limousine companies provide prearranged service at the airport.
F: Rental Cars
Free rental car shuttles run between the terminal building and the Car Rental Center. Shuttles run every 5 minutes from the commercial lane located outside the 1st level of the airport terminal building.
